Our Beloved Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam started his preparation of Ramadan from Rajab. What about us? Everyone should think about himself.
In a Muslim Life, right after Iman (Faith) the most important point is Deed.
In Ramadan, the value of Deed augments: One Nafl = One Fard and One Fard = Seventy Fard
Now take some time to think and meditate deeply: How much do we care the Values and Merits of Ramadan? If it is cared, fine; the benefit is ours. If we don’t care, the loss is ours. It is time that now, from Rajab, we prepare for Ramadan. We should increase good deed or at least start planning of more timeliness as a preparation an effective Ramadan.
The Sahaba (RA) also were humans like us. They also had family life, they also lived in this world with different troubles and situations. Definitely they are lucky to see and get the Company of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaiyhiwa Sallam, but the question is: am I unlucky by becoming the Ummah of Rasulullahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam? (Na-’wu zubillah – May Allah Taala forgive!). Definitely we are happy and satisfied, rather very much fortunate and very much grateful – we are the Ummah of Final Prophet – Beloved Muhammad Sallallahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam! At this age of trials and tribulations Allah Taala has provided us Iman and truly has blessed us.
For our turning to Allah Taala and for attracting ourselves to Islam,we must always make this wonderful Dua reported in Hadith:
Ya Muqallibal Quloob! Sabbit Qalbee ‘Ala Deenik!
Meaning: O the Turner of Hearts! Turn my heart towards Your Deen!
Let us rejoice with Great Hope and Sincere Intention to worship at the commencement of Ramadan! (O Allah provide Tawfeeq to all!) Make a routine today and try best to get ready to embrace Holy Ramadan with sincerity and piety. Each and every time, we drive our lives toward sins and make our heart and life dark. Let not this state linger! Death is in approach. Just a bit repentance, just some efforts Inshallah can bring back our lives on the Right Path and we could regain hope! We request to the whole Ummah to Act upon those deeds which our Beloved Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaiyhi Wa Sallam has performed, showed the Ummah and left for us. Let us strive to make the coming Ramadan fruitful!
